You will collaborate with system and hardware engineers to translate requirements into robust software solutions and participate in multi‑tier architectures. The role emphasizes hands‑on coding, code reviews, documentation, and staying current with the latest technologies.

Qualifications

• 10 years’ demonstrated experience in design, development, fielding, and sustainment of Java web apps.
• Proficient in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SQL, Perl, and graphics tools (Photoshop/Illustrator).
• Experience with multi-tiered architectures and Windows/Unix servers.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex algorithms meeting timing and resource constraints.
• Perform quality control on team products.
• Collaborate with engineers to derive software requirements and capabilities.
• Coordinate software installation and monitor operation; improve docs and standards.
• Modify existing software to fix errors or adapt to new hardware.
• Analyze and troubleshoot highly complex software problems with current tech.
• Develop, integrate, test, maintain, and support high‑performance software and web apps.
