Advantest America Inc. seeks a hands-on Senior Software Engineer to drive software architecture and development across SLT, Burn-In, and HPC test platforms. You will work with testers, drivers, firmware, and data services to deliver reliable solutions.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in software, deep C#/.NET expertise, and proven architecture ownership, with onsite work in Lake Forest, CA. Strong collaboration across global teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with strong hands-on technical leadership.
• Deep expertise in C#/.NET, distributed systems, multithreading, asynchronous programming, APIs, and debugging.
• Experience integrating software with physical equipment, firmware, drivers, or test systems.
• Experience owning architecture through implementation, integration, and production deployment.
• Willing to work onsite at Lake Forest, CA.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and develop software for SLT, Burn‑In, and HPC test platforms and data services.
• Drive test-driven development with high emphasis on unit and integration tests.
• Be ~85% hands-on in coding, integration, testing, debugging, and design.
• Develop cross‑platform applications, drivers, APIs, and test programs in C#, Python, and more.
• Implement secure on‑premises services and integrate with test hardware and systems.
• Mentor engineers and lead design/code reviews while remaining hands‑on.
