Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support enterprise applications across manufacturing and engineering functions. You will design, develop, and support .NET-based solutions and ETL processes while guiding a technical team.

The role involves collaborating with business analysts and stakeholders, mentoring peers, and leading critical projects. This is an on-site position in Gresham, Oregon with occasional global coordination.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Minimum 5+ years of software development experience.
Experience designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting enterprise applications.
Experience collaborating with Business Analysts, customers, and end users to gather requirements and deliver software solutions.
Experience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with relational databases, SQL, stored procedures, and data modeling concepts.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, debug, implement, and support custom enterprise applications for Manufacturing and Engineering.
Develop and support .NET applications, reporting solutions, and ETL processes.
Serve as technical lead for enterprise initiatives, including design, standards, testing, and support.
Support multiple domestic and international sites with scalable, reliable solutions.
Prepare functional and technical documentation and provide regular project updates.
Delegate work, mentor team members, and drive continuous improvement.
