Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven ability to design and deliver complex, multi-component systems that perform reliably in production.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, databases, caching, and performance optimization.
• Experience mentoring and developing other engineers.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
• Experience building systems with testing, observability, and failure handling.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver multi-component features or services that solve complex business problems.
• Make informed trade-offs between speed, scalability, cost, and maintainability.
• Build systems with testing, observability, monitoring, and failure modes designed in from the start.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and design discussions.
• Collaborate with Product and QA early in the development process to shape solutions.
