Job summary

Medtronic Colorado is seeking a software engineer to join the Surgical Operations Unit, a world‑class team uniting mechanical, electrical and software engineers to advance robotics and digital solutions for patients.

You will evaluate change requests, design, implement and test software changes for released devices, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams while adhering to the Quality System and regulatory practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or equivalent required.
• 5+ years in C++, C#, Java development.
• Experience with Linux, Windows and cloud platforms; regulated medical device background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate software change requests for released medical devices.
• Design, implement, and test software changes for released products while preserving design integrity.
• Participate in change control board, risk reviews, and other project meetings as necessary.
