Job summary

Sally Beauty Holdings, Inc. seeks a SR Software Engineer for the Supply Chain Technology team. Hybrid role based at Legacy West Support Center in Plano, TX, focusing on migrating from iSeries WMS to Manhattan Active WM and integrating cloud-based patterns.

You will bridge legacy operations and cloud technology, support DCs, and become SME for Manhattan Active WM while expanding into TMS and other logistics apps. Strong iSeries background and Cognos experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on software development and systems analysis in Warehouse Management / Supply Chain Logistics.
• Extensive IBM iSeries (AS/400) experience with RPG, RPGLE, CL and SQL.
• Deep understanding of distribution center processes (inbound, put away, inventory, replenishment, picking, sorting, wave management, outbound).
• Hands-on exposure to Manhattan Active WM or WMOS is preferred.
• Experience with Cognos SCI for supply chain reporting.
• Proficient with Jira for requirements gathering and Agile documentation.

Responsibilities

• System Migration & Dual Support: support daily DC operations on legacy iSeries WMS while migrating sites to Manhattan Active WM.
• MAWM Configuration & Implementation: configure Manhattan Active WM to meet DC workflows and inventory strategies.
• Reporting & Analytics: design, develop, and deploy reports and dashboards using Cognos SCI.
• Document & Label Design: build and test logistics documents, labels, and operational reports.
• Requirements & Documentation: translate technical/business requirements into Jira user stories.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: write test cases and validate data flows; debug configuration issues.
• Go-Live & Hypercare Support: provide on-site or remote support during go-live and hypercare.
• Cloud & Integration: manage data integration patterns in GCP for real-time communication.
• Multi-Platform Evolution: take on projects involving TMS and other logistics apps.
