Senior Front End Developer, Product Discovery

ROLE SUMMARY

You will work in a fast-paced environment on an online platform that serves 500+ web & mobile sites globally. Your role will involve working on all aspects of the digital customer experience with the client’s range of brands, from engaging customers via digital marketing channels, searching and browsing for products in the online shop and other sales channels, to order delivery.

SUCCESS CRITERIA

• Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize work effectively.
• Understand current and future state integrations; recommend changes based on analysis.
• Work independently with keen attention to detail.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build, design, and maintain websites and software applications.
• Manage communication with business stakeholders and management.
• Design, write, and edit website content.
• Ensure UI compatibility, cross-browser functionality, and adherence to web standards.
• Identify and resolve problems or bugs.
• Communicate daily with colleagues, managers, and stakeholders.
• Execute tasks using web applications, scripts, and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs, and Elixir.
• Develop and validate testing routines for interface quality assurance.
• Plan and deliver software platforms across organizational units.
• Design integrations with web services like REST and SOAP.
• Evaluate code for industry standards and device compatibility.
• Stay updated on web development trends and participate in learning groups.
• Take ownership of new and diverse requests to meet company goals.

Who You Are (Skills Required)

• 5+ years of professional full-stack web development experience using HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Familiarity with source control systems like Git.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive problem-solving attitude.
• Passion for writing clean, maintainable, high-performance code.

Skills Preferred

• Experience with Elixir, Phoenix, or other functional languages.
• Knowledge of UX and workflow design.
• Experience with enterprise-scale projects and global teams.
• E-commerce experience.
• Familiarity with development tools like Gulp, Babel, Webpack, NPM, Jenkins, Docker, and AWS services.
