Job summary

Unum Ireland is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the ServiceNow platform, focusing on CMDB governance, ITOM Discovery, and Service Mapping. You will drive CI/CD practices, lead integrations with Workday and AWS, and mentor engineers in an Agile, delivery-focused environment.

You will collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, Architecture, and Application teams to ensure scalable, secure, and standards-aligned solutions across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience with ServiceNow development and platform engineering.
• Strong experience with ServiceNow CMDB, Configuration Management, ITOM capabilities.
• Hands-on ITOM Discovery, Service Mapping, MID Server, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead for the enterprise ServiceNow CMDB with governance.
• Lead CMDB modernization, data quality initiatives, and CMDB adoption.
• Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow CMDB solutions and CI models.
• Lead ITOM Discovery and Service Mapping activities including MID Server management.
