Senior Software Engineer – Security & Credentialing

$360,000 – $420,000 + equity

U.S. Security Clearance Required (U.S. Citizenship Mandatory)

We are building a privacy-first, on-device multimodal biometric identity platform that is replacing standalone facial recognition at TSA checkpoints while expanding into government, mobile voting, and banking programs across Asia, Africa, and beyond — with over 32 active sovereign and institutional clients.

Pre-IPO equity with options available, vesting begins on the one-year anniversary.

We seek a world-class security and cryptography engineer who has built high-assurance identity or secure systems at Apple or equivalent.

You will own:

• Core multimodal biometric engine (3D vascular + face) with six-layer Presentation Attack Detection
• ISO/IEC 18013-5 mdoc credential infrastructure and COSE signing
• Hardware Security Module (HSM) integration and certificate hierarchies
• Cryptographic binding, secure provisioning, and audit evidence pipelines
• Zero-trust architecture ensuring zero biometric data egress

Ideal background:

• Strong experience in applied cryptography, PKI, and secure enclaves
• Background shipping secure identity or payment features
• Passion for building systems that are both highly secure and privacy-preserving
• Experience with patents or highly regulated environments (biometrics, identity, aviation security) is highly valued. Familiarity with the company’s U.S. Patents (10,135,822; 10,547,611; 10,721,228; 10,880,303; 11,277,405; 11,368,455; and 11,374,929 and pending) is a plus.
• U.S. Citizen able to obtain security clearance
