Grainger is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to scale the Product Security team. You will build guardrails, automate security, and drive secure defaults across the SDLC in a hybrid Lake Forest/Chicago setting.

You will mentor teammates and own end-to-end delivery from design to production support. You will work with engineers, architects, and analysts to deliver scalable software, focusing on self-service capabilities, vulnerability management, and policy as code while reducing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years of modern software engineering experience in large, distributed environments.
• Proficient in Python, Go or Java and frontend React development.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and DevSecOps practices.
