Job summary

Delinea is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Non-Human Identity (NHI) team, building secure, scalable microservices with C# on .NET, deployed on Kubernetes in Azure with Cosmos DB and RabbitMQ backing.

You will architect, develop, and deliver across IaC with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps, while collaborating to align with security standards and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional software engineering experience with C# .NET and microservices.
• Proficiency designing, developing, and maintaining data access across Azure Cosmos DB and Azure SQL, including schema design and query optimization.
• Experience with event-driven, message-based systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Azure Service Bus) and distributed data consistency.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes in a cloud environment and Terraform for IaC.
• Deep understanding of cloud security principles, identity management, and policy-based authorization approaches.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, test, and maintain secure microservices and distributed systems using C# .NET, ensuring alignment with cloud and security architecture standards.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize data access across Azure Cosmos DB and relational systems (Azure SQL), and implement caching and RabbitMQ-based event-driven workflows.
• Integrate with enterprise identity providers (Okta, Microsoft Entra ID/Graph) and internal identity and multi-tenancy services to support secure access control.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for provisioning Azure resources.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for secure, automated deployments using Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, and DevOps teams to define system roadmaps and ensure security/privacy compliance.
• Conduct code and design reviews, emphasizing performance, security, and maintainability.
• Provide technical mentorship to engineering peers.
