Job summary

Grafana Labs is hiring for a remote role in the Grafana Search & Storage squad. You will help develop the next-generation storage layer and support features for discovery and organization, including Search and Folders, within Grafana Cloud.

We value self-driven engineers who can influence roadmaps, own projects end-to-end, and collaborate across a remote-first, global team. Experience with cloud services and distributed systems is essential.

Qualifications

• Solid experience with Go, Rust, or Python in building distributed systems.
• Experience delivering software in cloud environments.
• Strong collaboration and communication in remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Influence roadmap and career objectives within the team.
• Deliver new features and iterate based on results.
• Drive projects from ideation to production in a self-driven way.
• Contribute to open-source culture and related projects.
• Design, build, operate, and maintain critical systems ensuring reliability and performance.
• Participate in on-call rotations and own the services you run.
• Mentor teammates and participate in design discussions.
• Learn Grafana Cloud codebase and large distributed systems.
• Communicate effectively in a largely remote engineering organization.
