Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled software engineer to join our fast-paced startup in the United States. You will design and build scalable infrastructure to support evolving regulatory requirements and work with Product and Design to deliver the best customer experience.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of software engineering experience, strong cross-functional communication, a CS degree, and a track record of shipping quality software at scale.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience building quality software applications at scale.
• Strong communicator able to work cross-functionally to balance product and technical requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science preferred
• Ability to build scalable systems from scratch with a fast turnaround
• Experience with web application development, mobile app development, large-scale distributed systems, or infrastructure management
• Time management skills for a fast-paced startup environment
• Authorization to work for any employer in the United States of America
• Must not require sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Learn new concepts and technologies quickly and apply them to challenging problems
• Design and build robust, extensible infrastructure for evolving and complex federal, state, and agency regulations
• Dive deeply into the inner workings of a highly complex mortgage servicing industry
• Work with Product and Design to define the best customer experience
