Job summary

Captivation Software is seeking a senior software engineer for a highly customer-facing role that leads mission-critical system development, deployment and evolution. You will focus on developing, deploying and administering complex systems using C++ or Python, Kubernetes, and GPUs.

The successful candidate must be a U.S. citizen with Top Secret/SCI clearance and a strong background in Linux, scripting, and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Twenty (20) years of experience as a SWE is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is required.
• U.S. citizen with Top Secret/SCI clearance and favorable polygraph.
• Experience with Kubernetes, GPUs, and mission-critical system deployment.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-faceted mission-critical system development, deployment and evolution.
• Oversee development, deployment and administration of complex systems.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure software meets user requirements.
