Job summary
Cornerstone Defense LLC is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain advanced software for satellite ground systems. The role is based in Dulles, VA or State College, PA, and requires an active TS/SCI clearance.
You will collaborate with systems engineers and hardware teams, implement Java and Python components, and participate in code reviews and system integration. The position supports Agile/DevOps practices and modern toolchains.
Qualifications
- Requires active TS/SCI security clearance with U.S. citizenship.
- Bachelor's degree in STEM with 8+ years of experience.
- 8+ years in Java, Linux/UNIX environments.
- Experience with unit testing (JUnit).
- Experience with Python.
- Experience in Agile/DevOps environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software for satellite ground systems.
- Collaborate with systems engineers and hardware teams.
- Develop Java and Python components and test suites.
- Migrate workloads alongside legacy platforms.
