Senior Software Engineer (Reston, VA) (Finance)

About Us

The Member Services team creates premium value for consumers, enhancing experiences across our properties. You will support product strategy, roadmap, and execution for next-generation subscription products, focusing on ecosystem expansion and monetization.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business, product, design, and engineering teams to develop, launch, and maintain scalable applications and services.
• Develop software for various platforms, including e-commerce, product marketing, subscription management, and customer support.
• Utilize generative AI technologies to improve user experiences.
• Apply coding and design patterns effectively, with proficiency in JavaScript and Java.
• Manage deployment and orchestration of platforms and applications.
• Work independently in an Agile environment, prioritizing tasks and driving projects to completion.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in building scalable applications and services.
• Strong skills in Java (Spring), Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript), and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS.
• Understanding of machine learning, prompt writing, and model evaluation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, Jenkins, GitHub.
• Continuous learner, updated with industry trends.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
