Job summary

Focus, a fully remote digital services firm, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer based in the continental United States. You will work across the full technology stack to build scalable testing, data generation, and frontend tooling for government-focused programs.

You will design Playwright-based UI/API test suites, create Python data generators, and develop React/TypeScript interfaces, while shaping CI/CD pipelines and cloud practices in a multi-vendor FedRAMP environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building full-stack apps and tooling.
• Experience with CI/CD and IaC practices.
• Experience with multi-vendor gov projects a plus.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain E2E UI/API test suites with Playwright.
• Build data generation tools and synthetic profiles via Python.
• Create React/TypeScript front-ends for vendors and stakeholders.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and feature-based release gates.
• Lead sprint triage to debug multi-vendor system failures.
• Mentor teammates and enforce code quality standards.
• Collaborate with client leads and vendor teams for releases.
• Assist Terraform-based cloud updates and security processes.
