Job summary

SimplerQMS is a remote-first company building a quality management platform for life sciences. We seek a Senior Software Engineer to join the product team, own key components, and contribute to software engineering excellence across design, testing, documentation, build, deployment, and operations.

You will help advance the product with a strong focus on collaboration with engineers, designers, and product managers, while maintaining high quality and low bug counts in core products.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on software development.
• At least 1 year in a professional environment using JavaScript frameworks or Ruby on Rails.
• Experience deploying software to a cloud environment (AWS/Azure).
• Strong English communication, written and verbal.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

• Own key platform components, from design through build and deployment.
• Lead or participate in product initiatives to remove customer friction.
• Adopt best practices in software engineering, testing, and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to drive the product forward.
