Senior Software Engineer (Remote in California)

This role involves participating in the design, development, coding, testing, debugging, and maintenance of software applications, primarily in an Azure cloud environment. Responsibilities include modifying existing applications, collaborating with stakeholders, and mentoring junior developers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software in Azure cloud environment
• Enhance existing applications and assist with product delivery
• Define and prioritize goals in an agile environment
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders
• Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours support
• Implement best coding practices and solutions
• Work with Solution Architect on design strategies
• Mentor junior developers and propose solutions to complex problems

Minimum Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with cloud-native applications, preferably in Azure, using Python
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming
• Experience with RDBMS such as PostgreSQL or MS SQL
• Knowledge of design patterns and software engineering best practices
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
• Proficiency with multiple programming environments and tools
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of additional technologies like Ruby, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, REST API, Docker, Linux, Windows, GIT, NPM is preferred

Additional Information
