Job summary

Solventum is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our healthcare technology team. You will lead development, implement secure coding practices, and collaborate across global teams to deliver high-quality software that improves patient outcomes.

The role requires strong Java, SpringBoot, SpringCloud, Docker, and Linux experience, plus scripting and deployment tooling. Remote work is supported, with travel up to 15% and relocation not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher degree from an accredited institution with at least six years of software development experience.
• OR High School Diploma/GED with ten years of software development experience.
• 4+ years of Java, SpringBoot and SpringCloud experience; 2+ years Docker and Linux; 2+ years scripting; 1+ year deployment tooling (Terraform/Ansible).
• Nice-to-have: AWS Certification; familiarity with Kubernetes, Consul, Prometheus, Rancher; cloud experience; OSS contributions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of world-class software for healthcare.
• Incorporate secure software development practices.
• Determine optimal solutions for complex problems.
• Collaborate with engineers and global teams to solve issues.
• Create well-tested, high-quality software following a Test-Driven Development model.
