Job summary

Diamond Foundry is looking for a detail-oriented Software Engineer to strengthen data collection, interfaces, and infrastructure for real-time manufacturing metrics. You will work with scientists and engineers to improve software experiences, automate tasks, and ensure secure, scalable data pipelines.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of software experience, proficiency in Python/JavaScript/SQL, and familiarity with cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience.
• Strong communication and software design skills.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain material tracking and data collection systems
• Coordinate with a broad range of stakeholders, including R&D engineers and technicians, to deliver scalable and actionable software solutions
• Assist in database optimization and application troubleshooting, document workflows, and improve visibility of data and software issues among internal teams
• Assist in web service and backend development
• Follow development best practices for software engineering, infrastructure, and real-time data processing, sourcing and implementing solutions as needed
