Job summary

Themis Insight is hiring a Sr. Software Engineer to work in the Ft. Meade, MD vicinity. Position location is subject to change based on central MD client's needs.

Required: TS/SCI with a Polygraph. You will develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet security and performance requirements.

Qualifications

• Fourteen (14) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Seven (7) years experience with the listed technologies and tools.
• Experience with containers and container orchestration is highly desired (Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift).
• Experience with agile development methodologies and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
• Develop or implement algorithms to meet performance and functional standards.
• Oversee one or more software development teams and ensure work aligns with the project methodology.
• Coordinate installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure operational specs are met.
