Job summary

Restaurant Brands International, headquartered in Miami, seeks an experienced software engineer to help build the next-generation ordering platforms for Burger King and other brands. You will contribute to high-impact projects and work on scalable, user-focused systems.

In this role, you’ll use React/TypeScript, Node.js, and modern tooling, collaborate across teams, and own code reviews and testing in a fast-paced environment. This office-based position requires five days on-site in Miami, FL.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT experience on consumer-facing products and services.
• Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks; React preferred.
• Proficiency in CSS, CSS preprocessors (SCSS/LESS) or CSS-in-JS.
• Experience building with Node.js and frameworks like NestJS/Express.
• Familiarity with serverless tech (AWS Lambda) or other cloud offerings.
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases and tradeoffs.

• Drive engineering excellence through reviews and best practices within the team.
• Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Collaborate with product, design, and other teams to align on priorities.
