Job summary

Data Intelligence, LLC (DI) is seeking a Software Engineer III to support advanced software development and integration efforts for U.S. Navy tactical systems. This role is ideal for experienced engineers who can contribute across the full lifecycle while helping drive technical solutions within a collaborative Agile team.

This position is fully on-site in Huntsville, AL. The salary range is $116,000 – $130,000 annually, depending on experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Math/Physics or related field.
5–7 years of software development experience with C++ preferred.
Expertise in C++ or similar OO language with MATLAB/scripting.
Experience in Agile environments and full SDLC.
OO design and modular architecture experience.
Linux/UNIX proficiency; Eclipse familiarity.
Radar-related knowledge and math background.
Active government clearance at least Secret level.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain software solutions for tactical defense systems.
Participate in SDLC activities in an Agile environment.
Support integration, testing, and troubleshooting of distributed systems.
Analyze requirements and contribute to software design and implementation.
Perform debugging and defect resolution; root-cause analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams; systems, test, integration.
Support technical reviews, documentation, and process compliance.
