Job summary

Terray Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the R&D Informatics team.

The role focuses on building backend systems, data pipelines, and user interfaces that power wet-lab and computational discovery platforms. The successful candidate will integrate ELN/LIMS applications, maintain code across data science and ML stacks, and collaborate with scientists to create scalable connections to informatics APIs and databases.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Highly proficient in Python and the PyData stack (numpy, pandas, scipy, scikit-learn, etc.).
• Proficiency in Linux environment, experience with database languages, and experience with version control practices and tools.
• Familiar with AWS cloud resources.
• Demonstrated ability to write high-quality, production-ready code.
• Knowledge of coding best practices, including standards, reviews, version control, and unit testing.
• Knowledge of API design.
• Experience with building data-focused dashboards and user interfaces.

Responsibilities

Terray Therapeutics is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join the R&D Informatics team within Terray's Computational and Data Science organization. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend systems, data pipelines, and user interfaces that power our wet-lab and computational discovery platforms.

The core responsibilities of this position are:

• Design and implement new internal applications to help our wet-lab and computational scientists analyze vast amounts of data
• Integrate commercial ELN/LIMS applications with our internal informatics platform
• Maintain and contribute to the Terray codebase across multiple platforms (data science, computational chemistry, machine learning, etc.)

Compensation Details:

$170,000-$260,000 annually, depending on experience. Terray's salary ranges are designed to be competitive and are benchmarked against market base salary plus bonus within our industry and market. We align pay to role scope, skill level, and impact.
