Job summary

Grainger in Chicago is seeking a senior software engineer to join the Pricing team. You will develop, test, and deploy high-quality web applications using React and Next.js on the front end, and Java or Kotlin on the back end, building scalable components.

You will optimize for speed and reliability, integrate with RESTful APIs, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with data, design, product, and executive teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience designing, building, and deploying scalable cloud-native applications.
• Strong experience with React.js/Next.js for frontend and Java/Spring Boot for backend.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy high-quality web applications using React, Next.js for the front end, and Java or Kotlin for the back end.
• Build reusable and scalable components and libraries for future use.
