Job summary

Fidelity Investments is seeking a Senior Software Engineer/Developer to migrate desktop app suites (WPF, SOAP, REST) to Angular/Java stacks and to design scalable, secure web-based solutions. You will align with OOD, REST practices, and unit testing while collaborating with analysts and engineers to meet performance goals.

Qualifications include a BS in CS/Engineering (or related field) with 3 years of relevant experience, or a MS with 1 year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and three years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer in financial software using Microsoft 365 tech.
• Or a Master's degree with one year of experience in the same domain and tech stack.

Responsibilities

• Develop original and creative technical solutions for ongoing development efforts.
• Design applications or subsystems on major projects across multiple platforms.
• Develop applications for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.
• Support and perform all testing phases leading to implementation.
• Assist in planning and conducting user acceptance testing.
• Create comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting corporate initiatives.
• Handle post-installation testing and establish project plans for moderate scope.
• Tackle complex assignments across multiple phases and programs.
