Amazon's Personalization organization seeks a Senior Software Development Engineer to design and build features for real-time, AI-powered shopping personalization at scale. You will own team architecture, mentor engineers, and drive cross-team projects, shaping how LLMs integrate into customer experiences.

You’ll collaborate with Product and Science to set technical roadmaps, deliver reliable, scalable systems, and champion engineering best practices across the team.

Competenze

• Experience mentoring engineers and leading teams.
• Experience shaping architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling.
• Proficient in Java, C++, or C# with OO design.

Mansioni

• Own team architecture of personalized recommendation system operating at Amazon scale
• Lead cross-teams projects end-to-end with focus on maintainability, scalability, performance, and reliability
• Collaborate with Product and Science to define technical roadmap and data-driven experiences
• Build AI-powered experiences using LLMs and generative AI for personalized recommendations
• Define analytics and experiment configurations to measure business and technical metrics
• Create clarity from ambiguity and make sound technical decisions in new problem spaces
• Promote engineering best practices and improve operational foundations
