Job summary
Utah Tech University’s Parkspass program seeks a Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of the platform’s web and mobile applications, payment, and reservation systems. You will architect APIs and integrate with payment processors and partner agencies, while guiding junior developers.
You will work on secure, scalable solutions across the stack and mentor interns, contributing to continuous improvement and system reliability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in software development, computer science, software engineering, web development, or a related field.
- Two years of related internship or job experience; four+ years of software development experience preferred.
- Experience designing and consuming APIs and integrating third-party services.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of secure, scalable web and mobile applications for passes, reservations, payments, and visitor services.
- Architect and build APIs and integrations with payment processors, state systems, and partner agencies.
- Develop and maintain front-end and back-end components.
- Mentor junior developers and student interns.
