Job summary

Dockwa is the operating system for the marine economy, serving thousands of marinas and boaters who use our platform to manage bookings, payments, and services. You will build the software marina operators use to run their businesses and the boater app on the other side.

Our engineering team is small and fast-growing, responsible for end-to-end delivery—from scope to deployment—across reservations, payments, and money movement, as we scale internationally with multi-currency support.

Qualifications

• Production web applications you shipped and owned.
• AI fluency with receipts; not just tool familiarity.
• Comfort across a full stack: Rails, React, Postgres and AWS.
• Ability to read and improve unfamiliar code without proposing a rewrite.
• Clear writing to explain a technical tradeoff to a PM, a support teammate, or a marina operator.

Responsibilities

• Build the software marina operators use to run their businesses, and the boater app on the other side.
• Own problems from scoping and design through deployment and beyond.
• Operate in a twelve-year-old system carrying live payment traffic; make real decisions early.
