Mozilla is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to architectural discussions and drive feature development for Firefox on desktop OS integrations.

You’ll work on installs, updates, and OS integrations, tackle platform-specific challenges on Windows and macOS, and collaborate with a geographically distributed team to deliver high-quality software for hundreds of millions of users.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience as Software Engineer.
• Experience with systems-level programming on Windows/macOS.
• Strong C/C++ skills.
• Excellent communication in distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Firefox installs, updates, and OS integrations.
• Help implement enhancements to the Firefox installation and update experience using data insights.
• Tackle platform-specific challenges in low-level OS integration on Windows and macOS.
• Collaborate with your manager and teammates to scope and prioritize work.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions.
• Take ownership of complex bugs and lead efforts to improve the Firefox experience for millions of users.
