Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the DGX Cloud object storage team to design, implement, and extend our internal storage system used by AI/ML research across exabytes of data. You will build scalable storage features and optimize performance in a distributed environment.

You will contribute to open source projects, work with Python, Go, and C/C++, and focus on reliability, data durability, and end-to-end automation of provisioning, management, and monitoring.

Qualifications

• Consistent track record of object storage service development and data availability strategies.
• Ownership of product delivery from inception to support.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience developing distributed systems with Python, Go, or C/C++.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test the object storage system.
• Develop storage capabilities to support NVIDIA research teams.
• Extend availability and reliability at scale (10k+ nodes, exabytes).
• Analyze and improve system performance at all levels.
• Automate storage infrastructure end-to-end including provisioning, management, monitoring.
• Contribute upstream to open source storage codebases.
