Sr Node Engineer

About the Role

You’ll be instrumental in a small and fast-paced engineering team while taking ownership of your work at every stage of the development lifecycle from early concepts through delivery.

On a daily basis, you are expected to:

1. Work closely with other experts on designing features for final customers, including product management and finances.
2. Take ownership of the implementation and optimization over iterations.
3. Solve performance and scalability issues to rightsize platforms for the growing stages.
4. Tackle e-commerce platform apps fast integration needs with creative problem-solving skills.
5. Contribute to enhance CI/CD and test automation capabilities.

What We’re Looking For

1. 5+ years of experience.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
3. Full stack with proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, and Single-Page Applications (SPAs); experience with TypeScript is preferred.
4. Proficiency in SQL, relational databases, and data modeling.
5. Experience with ETL data pipeline and analytics.
6. Familiar with developing on AWS or Heroku.
7. Desire to constantly learn and grow both personally and professionally.

An especially strong candidate may also have the following experience:

1. Machine Learning basic concepts.
2. Test automation.
3. DevOps, CI/CD tool chains.
4. Working in startups.
