Filevine, a Legal AI company delivering Legal Operating Intelligence, seeks an experienced software engineer to build and maintain web applications at scale. You will work with Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular and React, participate in code reviews, mentor juniors, and contribute to on-call rotations while collaborating across technical and management teams.

You will thrive in a fast-growing environment focused on reliability, performance, and delivering value to legal operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a software engineer with a proven track record.

Responsibilities

• Developing web based applications using Node, React, Redis, MS SQL, ElasticSearch, AWS.
• Performing day to day maintenance and support of all existing applications in use at Filevine.
• Preserving and optimizing the quality of the software.
• Innovating and improving on the software, features, processes, and technology.
• Analyzing, troubleshooting, and fixing issues and bugs as they arise.
• Performing detailed and helpful code reviews.
• Mentoring and reviewing more junior engineers within the team.
• Participating in on-call rotation to provide escalated emergency support.
• Communicating clearly with technical and management audiences.
• Improving scalability and performance of high-volume, information rich web applications.
