Solventum is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our healthcare technology team. You will lead development, implement secure coding practices, and collaborate across global teams to deliver high-quality software that improves patient outcomes.

The role requires strong Java, SpringBoot, SpringCloud, Docker, and Linux experience, plus scripting and deployment tooling. Remote work is supported, with travel up to 15% and relocation not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher degree from an accredited institution with at least six years of software development experience.
• OR High School Diploma/GED with ten years of software development experience.
• 4+ years of Java, SpringBoot and SpringCloud experience; 2+ years Docker and Linux; 2+ years scripting; 1+ year deployment tooling (Terraform/Ansible).
• Nice-to-have: AWS Certification; familiarity with Kubernetes, Consul, Prometheus, Rancher; cloud experience; OSS contributions.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution AND six (6) years of experience in software development.

OR

• High School Diploma/GED from AND Ten(10) years of experience in software development.

AND

• 4+ years of experience with Java, SpringBoot and SpringCloud.
• 2+ years of experience with Docker and Linux.
• 2+ years of experience with at least one scripting language (example: Python, Ruby, Bash etc.).
• 1+ years of experience with any deployment tool such as Terraform and/or Ansible.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• AWS Cloud Certification

Onboarding Requirement: To improve the onboarding experience, you will have an opportunity to meet with your manager and other new employees as part of the Solventum new employee orientation. As a result, new employees hired for this position will be required to travel to a designated company location for on-site onboarding during their initial days of employment. Travel arrangements and related expenses will be coordinated and paid for by the company in accordance with its travel policy. Applies to new hires with a start date of October 1st 2025 or later.

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $106,000 - $145,750, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
