Motion Recruitment Partners in Chicago, IL is seeking a Senior Software Engineer at principal level to join our engineering team. This full-time, hybrid role (3 days onsite) focuses on building scalable enterprise applications using .NET/C#, cloud platforms, and AI-assisted development tools, partnering with business stakeholders.
You will own solutions from concept through delivery, mentor peers, influence architecture, and contribute to data, DevOps, and CI/CD improvements.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong object-oriented design and development skills.
- Advanced experience with C# and the Microsoft .NET ecosystem.
- Experience building scalable enterprise applications.
- Hands-on experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools throughout the software lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Experience designing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
- Experience collaborating directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and define solutions.
