Job summary

Applied Materials, Inc. is seeking a Process Engineer to design and optimize semiconductor manufacturing processes for display and semiconductor devices.

You will collect data, perform hardware characterization, and troubleshoot engineering issues in collaboration with customers and suppliers. You will work with leading R&D teams on advanced technologies, generate documentation, and communicate effectively to resolve challenges.

Qualifications

  • Doctorate in a relevant field.
  • Experience with CVD, ALD, PVD, etch, epi.
  • Experience with FTIR, XPS, XRD or similar characterization methods.

Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize semiconductor manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with R&D teams and vendors on state‑of‑the‑art projects.
  • Analyze data, generate documents, and report findings.
