Job summary

Pinterest is seeking senior full-stack and backend engineers to join our Monetization Engineering teams in the United States. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to build robust frameworks and features that power the latest experiences for Pinners.

You will champion collaboration and scalable design, translating ideas into reliable code, prototyping with rapid tests, and driving initiatives from inception to release.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• Experience in following best practices in writing reliable and maintainable code that may be used by many other engineers
• Ability to keep up-to-date with new technologies to understand what should be incorporated
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Proficiency in one or more common backend and frontend tech stacks: e.g. Javascript, React, API, storage, caching and data processing
• Minimum 4 years of industry full-stack or backend development experience, building consumer or business facing products
• This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times per month
