Job summary

Pinterest is hiring inquisitive full-stack and backend engineers to join Monetization Engineering. You will build robust frameworks and features, collaborate with product and design, and scale solutions to millions of users.

You’ll lead development from ideation through release and drive high-quality, testable code. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in full-stack/backend roles and a CS-related degree, with proficiency in Javascript/React, APIs, storage and data processing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in one or more backend/frontend stacks: Javascript, React, API, storage, caching and data processing
• Experience writing reliable, maintainable code used by other engineers
• Ability to stay up-to-date with new technologies and collaborate effectively

Responsibilities

• Build out full-stack features for Pinterest users
• Lead steps of product development from ideation to release
• Collaborate with design, product and backend teams
• Suggest new product ideas and features
• Implement automated tests to ensure high quality
