Job summary

Eight Sleep is seeking a Senior iOS Software Engineer to join our Engineering team in a fast-paced, health-tech environment. You will own features for our consumer iOS app, collaborating with backend, firmware, ML, and design to ship polished, performance-oriented experiences.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of shipping high-quality features for native iOS apps.

Responsibilities

• The mobile app is the primary point of interaction for members; you will collaborate with backend, firmware, ML, and cross-functional teams.
• Conduct code reviews, ensure code quality, and optimize app performance to enhance the user experience.

You will work very closely with other Engineers (backend, firmware, ML), departments (R&D, Growth, Hardware), and Executives (CEO, CPO, VPs).We are looking for an experienced Senior iOS Software Engineer to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate has experience within a hyper-growth start-up that has shipped pixel-perfect mobile apps with beautiful animations. We want someone with a high bar for product quality, technical prowess, and a passion for health tech and wellness. You will conduct code reviews, ensure code quality, and optimize the app performance to enhance the experience of our members.What You'll Need To Succeed

• 6+ years of shipping high-quality features for native iOS apps
• Expertise with Swift
• Mastery of SwiftUI and Combine

• Familiarity with Swift's evolution in recent years
• Familiarity with CI/CD, codegen/projectgen tools
• Experience working at a consumer products company focusing on health and wellness.
• Experience working with App Extensions (Apple Watch, Widgets, Siri)
