Job summary

CoreWeave is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to own architecture across ML Workflows, including artifacts, registry, and automation components. The role spans Go backend services, GraphQL APIs, Python SDK, and a TypeScript frontend, with collaboration across product managers, designers, and enterprise ML teams.

You will drive end-to-end systems improvements, lead migrations, mentor engineers, and shape engineering patterns as the platform grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in a technical field.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience, incl. leadership of major initiatives.
• Strong proficiency in Go, or ability to ramp on Go quickly with other languages.
• Working proficiency in Python.
• Experience diagnosing complex systems across service boundaries.
• Track record mentoring engineers and raising technical standards.
• Excellent communication and ability to explain complex decisions to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and evolution of a core platform area to scale artifacts and throughput.
• Analyze system design to optimize performance and fix complex bugs.
• Work across Go, Python SDK, and TypeScript frontend as needed.
• Lead migrations and re-architect systems carrying live customer traffic.
• Refactor technical debt and improve maintainability and developer productivity.
• Establish engineering patterns and best practices as the platform grows.
• Collaborate with product/design to translate user needs into technical implementations.
• Engage with customers to understand ML workflow challenges and feed insights to product.
• Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar across the team.
