What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Lead the development, testing, and maintenance of the ML Feature Store and Feature Engineering infrastructure
- Collaborate with engineers across the ML Platform to enhance overall platform capabilities
- Assist management with team goal setting, planning, and ensuring successful project execution
- Mentor team members in implementing a rigorous DevOps approach to maintain ML infrastructure quality
- Build feature stores for online inference and model training to support various applications
What is Required (Qualifications)
- 4-6+ years of experience in a production software development environment
- Experience with large-scale machine learning systems serving hundreds of millions of users
- Proven experience in building feature stores and feature engineering infrastructure
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages, including Python, Scala, and Golang
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and large-scale open-source data stacks such as Kafka, Flink, Cassandra, and Redis
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience with distributed systems and data-intensive applications at a petabyte scale
- Strong organizational and communication skills to facilitate team collaboration
