Adobe seeks a Senior Software Engineer to advance the Meta Factory Agent Harness, focusing on agent execution, tool use, context and lifecycle management.
You will lead cross-team engineering efforts, define interfaces between agents, tools, and the harness, and drive secure, scalable, and maintainable architectures for AI-enabled systems used by Adobe engineers.
Adobe Unified Platform is building the system that changes how software gets made at Adobe, a platform that understands builders’ intent, breaks down complex work, executes it through autonomous agents, and improves with every cycle. This team ships multiplies across thousands of Adobe engineers and provides the substrate for Adobe’s agentic efforts. Meta Factory is the core of that platform: the Agentic Builders Experience that defines how agents understand their goals, decompose work, use tools, evaluate outcomes, and improve over time. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in agent runtimes, model context protocols, multi‑agent coordination, tool calling patterns, sandboxed execution, and feedback‑driven improvement systems to help build and shape Meta Factory’s core agent harness systems.
U.S. pay range for this position is $173,500 – $331,050 annually (California: $228,600 – $331,050).
