Job summary

Biolinq is seeking a senior software engineer to join a cross-functional team developing intradermal biosensor technology and related software. You will lead key projects, set technical direction, and collaborate across operations, trials, engineering, and marketing to translate requirements into robust software solutions.

The role emphasizes production deployment, quality systems for medical devices, and ongoing maintenance of existing Biolinq software.

Qualifications

Requires expertise in at least one software discipline (mobile, server, or GUI) and ability to work in others as needed.
Experience deploying and supporting at least one production application or service.
Familiarity with software quality systems for medical devices and threading concepts.

Responsibilities

Lead software projects within the software discipline and language specialty.
Independently solve engineering problems for microservices or applications.
Define software requirements with stakeholders and estimate load, response time, or UI performance.
Identify bottlenecks and trade-offs in system design and justify choices.
Lead projects with engineers reporting to you informally and ensure code quality with unit tests.
