Job summary

Stereotaxis, a global leader in robotic technologies for interventional procedures, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive the architecture and lifecycle development of C++ UI software for medical devices. You will code in Visual Studio, design features, and ensure robust, safe software aligned with regulatory expectations.

The role requires a strong background in C++, UI frameworks (MFC/Qt), multi-threading and OpenGL, with a focus on embedded systems and regulatory awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EE/CS or equivalent is required or highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture of User Interface software for complex medical devices.
• Translate customer specs into requirements and detailed designs.
• Code in C++ using Visual Studio; implement features and test.
• Design, implement, debug, and document software components.
• Develop robust, safe software for medical devices.
• Research new technologies applicable to Stereotaxis products.
