Job summary

Brio Group is partnering with a medical device leader to recruit a Senior Software Engineer for their cardiac care R&D team. You will develop software across embedded systems, firmware, user interfaces, and real-time device control.

You will own end-to-end product lifecycle from architecture and development through verification, validation, manufacturing support, and post-market enhancements in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience in the medical device industry.
• Strong Java and C/C++ programming experience.
• Embedded systems and RTOS experience.
• Experience developing software under IEC 62304 and FDA Design Controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop software across embedded systems, firmware, user interfaces, and real-time device control in a regulated environment.
• End-to-end ownership of the product lifecycle from architecture through post-market enhancements.
• Collaborate with Hardware, Systems, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, and Manufacturing engineers to bring innovative products to market.
• Mentor engineers and elevate software best practices across the organization.
