Job summary

Lambda seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join the Mk8s team, shaping architecture and automation of Kubernetes-based AI infrastructure. You will build scalable control plane services and GPU-aware orchestration to power AI workloads, collaborating across the stack with NVIDIA and internal teams.

You’ll work at the intersection of distributed systems, GPU networking, and cloud-native infra, delivering reliable, high-performance solutions for world-class customers.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering with ownership of significant scope.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes internals and control plane components.
• Strong Go and Python programming skills; Linux networking knowledge.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems and observability at scale.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable control plane services and operators.
• Develop GPU-aware orchestration and integration with networking.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver reliable, scalable AI workloads.
• Support on-call rotation and debugging production issues.
