Job summary

Google Cloud seeks a Senior Software Engineer, Machine Learning, Commerce AI, based in Sunnyvale, CA. You will develop end-to-end ML systems, work across search, commerce, and AI layers, and help scale Gemini-based solutions for merchants globally.

You will own design and deployment of ML infrastructure, APIs, and tooling, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact features. Strong experience with C++/Python and LLMs is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in C++ or Python.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
• 3 years of experience with Large Language Models and evaluation frameworks.
• 3 years of experience with ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, debugging).
• Master's degree or PhD in CS or related technical field preferred.

• Architect and refine unified, scalable APIs for catalog ingestion and real-time agent configuration.
