Job summary

Hudson Manpower is seeking a Senior Core Java Engineer in Chicago to design and implement low- or ultra-low-latency electronic trading backend systems. The role requires hands-on development, deep knowledge of trading workflows, and performance tuning in a Linux environment.

You will work in a hybrid setup (2 days onsite) and contribute to production-grade, latency-sensitive platforms used by trading desks and counterparties. Prior experience with trading firms or exchanges is highly valued.

We are seeking a Senior Core Java Engineer with recent, hands‑on experience developing low- or ultra-low-latency electronic trading systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of actual trading workflows and experience building performance-sensitive backend systems.

Location: Chicago, IL – Hybrid (2 days onsite required)
