Job summary

LMI is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build mission applications for Army logistics modernization. You will develop user-facing apps and workflows in Palantir Foundry and Army Vantage, turning data products into practical tools for Army users.

This role requires hands-on engineering across the stack, collaboration with Army stakeholders, and delivering secure software in a mission-critical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or equivalent.
• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and React.
• Experience integrating applications with APIs and data services.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Go, or Node.js.
• Experience delivering secure, production-quality software.
• Experience with DoD programs and active security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain mission applications in Palantir Foundry and Army Vantage.
• Create intuitive user experiences and workflows for Army users.
• Build apps using shared data products and platform services.
• Collaborate with Army users to translate requirements into working software.
• Define data needs with data engineers and ensure data trust.
• Apply modern software practices: source control, reviews, tests, CI/CD, monitoring.
• Diagnose performance, reliability, and usability issues in live apps.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to reusable patterns.
